The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the draft law on amendments to article 5 of the Law “On Court Fee” (re exemption from court fees of the State Environmental Inspectorate)

The Committee noted that the draft law (Reg. No. 2873) aims to ensure adequate representation of the State Ecological Inspectorate and its territorial bodies of state interests in the courts regarding damages and losses caused by violation of the requirements of environmental legislation and the illegal exploitation of natural resources.

According to the Committee members, the bill will promote proper representation of the State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine and its territorial bodies of state interests in the courts.
